About Rey

Inspired by the midwest environment she grew up around, Rey Yaniga brings the joy of simple, everyday moments into her work. As a recent graduate from The Cleveland Institute of Art, Rey is always updating her portfolio and looking for work opportunities.

Rey Is very interested in thinking of design in a 360 degree view. This has fueled her love of packaging design and paper engineering. She likes creating vector illustrations and applying them in different ways. She enjoys learning new programs and expanding her knowledge of the ones she knows. She is currently proficient in Adobe programs like Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, as well as Procreate and Blender.

Rey has done a product design internship with American Greetings in their Innovation department, creating concepts for popup cards and other paper products. She has also done freelance work for the Lake County Captains.

When she isn’t working on creative projects and learning new skills, Rey is petting rabbits, playing minecraft, and going on adventures.
